Welcome to the Nako Okavango Guesthouse!
It is set up high from the Thamalakae river as a backdrop offering beautiful sunsets of Ntabis. Located 15 kilometres from Maun and 5 kilometres from Sitatunga Camp, the guesthouse provides camping experience and luxury accomodation boasting 8 chalets near the waterfront.
It offers wonderful wide water views from the elevated decks of each chalet, where you can sit under shaded trees and enjoy a cool afternoon drink while watching the rich bird-life found in the area. The Ntabis site is popular with the elephants as they often take bath in the perennial riverbend of the Thamalakane.
Each tent-room /chalet is fitted with a king-size bed and a shower accompanied by room service and continental or full English/Irish breakfast with free WIFI all throughout the guesthouse site.
The true essence of a decadent ‘Delta Safari’ experience cannot be done without the local cuisine with poolside buffets, lunches or on-the-deck intimate meals served to your preference. Lamb, beef or chicken is available for you to enjoy with a bottle of wine or desired cocktail.
In transit into the Okavango or just needing a break away from the concrete, then ‘ke nako ya go nna ko Okavango metsotsonyana’ (then its time to take a break Okavango-style).
